Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms govern use of Yorker AI, a software service that generates live cricket commentary and related scorecards (“the Service”), operated by Yorker AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Yorker AI”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Yorker AI lets match organisers score a game and generate spoken ball-by-ball commentary, a shareable live scorecard, and an overlay for streaming tools such as OBS. Commentary is machine-generated. It is not a human broadcaster and will sometimes be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Typical spoken audio arrives in about a second after a ball is scored; we do not promise a particular latency or sample rate.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate details and keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Google sign-in is managed by Google; we do not store a password for those accounts. We may suspend an account that is abused, unpaid, or used to attack the Service.

4. Plans, billing and refunds

A free trial is available without a card. Paid plans (Pro, Ultra) are charged in Indian rupees through Razorpay. Prices and match allowances shown at checkout are the contract. Subscriptions renew until cancelled from the Subscription page or by emailing support.

Refunds. If you have not used any paid-plan match after a charge, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of payment. After a paid match has been created or commentary generated on a paid allowance, fees for that period are non-refundable except where Indian consumer law requires otherwise, or where we charged you in error. Refunds, when due, are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take several business days to appear.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, scrape or resell our models as a generic speech API, attack other users, or upload content you do not have rights to. Match data and commentary you generate remain yours to use for your own broadcasts; you grant us a licence to process them so we can run the Service.

6. Third-party providers

Commentary text and speech are produced using third-party AI and payment processors (including OpenAI, speech vendors, and Razorpay). Their outages or policies can affect the Service. We are not liable for those third parties beyond what the law requires.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by Indian law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost broadcasts, lost profits, or indirect loss.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have additional rights as a consumer where you live.
